While raising three children in an idyllic community in upstate New York, I made the decision to turn my passion and talent for interior design into a professional endeavor. I had the privilege of working alongside Kathie Kitchner, an accomplished designer and owner of Creative Design Interiors & Paris Flea in Skaneateles, NY. I gained invaluable insights into running a design business.

Nearly twenty years ago, I founded Modish Interiors and continued sharing my love for transforming spaces through thoughtfully curated and beautifully executed designs. Over the years, as my business has grown, so too has my network of collaboration with exceptional trade professionals who share my dedication to quality, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong commitment to client satisfaction. Partnering with creatives in design, architecture, craftsmanship, and artistry continually inspires me. It drives me to expand new collections  carefully, selected offerings to create stylish designs and curated spaces to love.

As our individual styles mature over time, most of us are drawn to what resonates deeply and holds personal significance. Equally important is achieving balance between aesthetic preferences and practical lifestyles. Good design integrates these elements seamlessly; it brings joy because it reflects who we are. In this sense, there are no specific rules—only boundless possibilities waiting to be explored.
